Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to note that the Race Base Purple totally killed it at Alta this week. With no effort at all, I was blowing past people on cat tracks and traverses. The guys I was skiing with kept commenting how much faster my skis were (and I was even on wider, and technically slower, skis). Starting behind them from the top, I’d catchup and then out pace the whole group like there were rockets on my skis. It confirms my earlier experience back home that the RBP is very, very fast compared to other waxes I have used in recent years.

After 4 long days at Alta, the bases still looked great, so durability is very good too. In fact, I left my skis out there for my next trip, partially due to the fact that I didn’t feel the need to bring them home for another wax.
