With the SlideWright Dremel Tool adapter and the adjustable ‘Mini-Table’, along with the SlideWright Jointer Shim and fence, you can quickly sharpen acrylic wax scrapers. This ‘work table’ system also allows for using grinding, sanding and cutoff tools for an endless variety of possible uses. The Dremel Tool base and SlideWright MultiStrap can be mounted on a bench, board….even a wall or post….to provide a solid base for other tool uses, like the Dremel Flexible Shaft accessory.
To you set the table height for straight cuts, the outfeed table must be flush or just above the height of the cutter. The infeed side of the ‘jointer shim’ is 0.5mm lower than the outfeed. An easy way to set the height is (with tool off), push the scraper backwards over the outfeed side and cutter, if the cutter/spindle rotates, it’s too high.
It also works on steel scrapers and SkiVision steel bars, etc, with aluminum oxide grinding wheels or sanding drums/barrels.
