Hard paraffin (green, among the hardest available), 250 grams, snow temperature -30 to -10 degrees C. High and medium melting point wax for saturation and protection of ski and snowboard bases. Ideal as an initial base prep wax when snow temperature is cold or snow is abrasive (ie. man-made snow), or as a first wax after stonegrinding base. High quality, high melt point paraffin that is economial as a first layer before applying condition specific wax.

Also an excellent option to reduce base burn along edges. Apply 1/2 to 3/4 inch (13 to 20mm) along edges. Plus use to fill scratches, cuts and gouges.

Racing Base Soft (red) for now temperature -5 to 0 degrees C. Ski and snowboard soft paraffin wax. Ideal as initial base prep wax, when snow temperature is warm, as a travel wax to protect base when in transit as well as hot scraping and end of season storage wax.

Blend 50/50 for a medium temperature wax. -15° to 5°C.

After scraping, optimize the glide by freeing the base structureof wax with these fine maple backed, oval brushes with leather straps. They are the choice of World Cup technicians. Use the soft brass first and follow with the hard horse hair. Buff out a nice sheen fora smooth glide with the soft nylon brush.
