For best results use light pressure and do not use the same cork applying paraffin waxes that will be used when applying flouro wax (use one cork for paraffin and another to apply fluoro wax). Start with a slow drill speed ie. 500 rpm moving the drill back and forth 1' at a time using light pressure from tip to tail. Make a final pass (3-4 seconds) with a higher drill speed ie. 1500-2000 rpm. Allow base to stand for 10-15 minutes, then use Roto Nylon or Roto Soft Horsehair to polish the base structure repeating steps used for Roto Cork. The Roto Nylon or Roto Soft Horsehair is used for final finishing or polishing of the base. Why wear yourself out when you can let your drill do the work? Roto cork is ideal for spreading, rubbing and pressing paraffin P1, or fluoro P2, P3 and P4 powders into the base after powder is sprinkled on the base. Also excellent to enhance liquid and spray wax base penetration. Always wear eye protection when operating roto cork or roto brushes.
